How we review
Editorial Review Policy
Our reviews are independent editorial opinions built from the same checks for every operator. This page explains how we get to a score and what it does and doesn't mean.
Independence first
The editorial team decides what goes into a review. Commercial arrangements, covered in our Affiliate Disclosure, don't set the score, choose the badges or fix where a brand appears. We'd rather lose a partnership than publish a review we don't stand behind.
The seven checks
Every operator is assessed against the same areas:
- Offer clarity — whether the headline promotion states its wagering requirement and key conditions up front.
- Site usability — how quickly the lobby loads and how well search and filtering work.
- Payment options — supported deposit and withdrawal methods, published limits and realistic processing times.
- Game variety — the spread across slots, live tables and studios, ignoring padded duplicate counts.
- Mobile experience — whether the app or mobile site keeps the full feature set, not a stripped-down version.
- Terms transparency — how readable and accessible the small print is before you opt in.
- Responsible gambling visibility — how easy it is to find deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion.
How a score is formed
We weigh those seven areas into a single editorial score out of ten. It's a summary of judgement, not a calculated average from a formula or a crowd of star ratings. That's deliberate: a brand can have a huge game library and still score modestly if its terms are hard to follow or withdrawals are slow.
Because the score reflects genuine differences, brands don't all land in the same place. We don't hand out top marks as standard, and we don't publish invented review counts or fake user totals.
What a score is not
Our scores are opinions to help you compare, not official ratings, regulatory approval or a guarantee about your own experience. We never claim a casino is officially the best, and we never suggest a review guarantees winnings, payouts or account approval. Sites change, so always confirm the current offer, licence and terms on the operator's own pages.
Keeping reviews current
Operators update promotions, payment methods and rules regularly. We revisit reviews when something material changes and welcome corrections — if you think a detail is out of date, tell us via the Contact page.
